I doubt I'm capabled, individually, of taking advantage of that but I bet there are more than a few experienced gamers who could out-play the aim assist. In theory those shots will act differently from the target's perspective than most aim-assisted shots. Aim assist is only useful against a cooperative opponent, sailing in a straight line, at medium & long range and is actually a hindrance at short range. I also think you really havent used this mod because it doesnt do what you say it does. However if someone is shooting at them without the aim assist they will have more control over where the shot lands. Kind of simple here, If you think an approved mod is OP, you should be using it. Since the funnel/magnet affect exists on any shots aimed at someone they'll be used to seeing them at launch and beginning a dodge. Most players are probably going to be defined as 'skilled' in part on their ability to anticipate shots and angle to avoid them. Before you shoot have closer look at direction of. And if you're aimed at an island, but a ship beyond the island is targeted, the game knows to fire at the more distant target, (hopefully) arcing over the island. 0.5.2.4 World of Warships Aim Assistant Update 22/01/16 Fixed BB spoter planes. So, if you aim high on a ship you have targeted, the game knows to fire at an angle that will hit that point, not some point in the sea beyond. About the only thing I see it doing is helping with intervening obstacles.
